In recent building projects in Leavenworth, Brooks has enjoyed incorporating rustic elements using natural log beams and posts, spindle rails, and custom cut log trim, using logs from the building lots themselves. He recently acquired a saw mill and will expand this aspect of building even further. Brooks is excited about opportunities to use his creativity and years of building expertise in the projects ahead.

Who We Are

Brooks Gilbertson, owner of Gilbertson Construction, has been building since 1980. He was destined to be a builder. By age five, he was spending his allowance on nails at the neighborhood hardware store. At twelve, he had built a tree house with a wired light. By high school, he was repairing and remodeling rental houses for his parents. During his college years, he constructed a duplex, under the tutelage of an experienced carpenter, while studying design and architecture. At the age of 22 he started his own company, Gilbertson Construction, building primarily residential homes in Seattle, WA, Anchorage, AK, Lake Stevens, Snohomish, Granite Falls, Everett, Marysville, Arlington, Stanwood, Wenatchee, and recently, in Plain and Leavenworth, WA.

Brooks' wife, Gracia Gilbertson, uses her own talents as a designer to turn empty spaces into environments that are warm, welcoming, comfortable, and gracious. Learn more about her interior design services at Gracious Offering.
